I was a child in the '50s when I learned the stock market went up when people lost their jobs. Low unemployment means that wages have to be higher to attract workers. High unemployment means desperate workers will take less money.Laying off workers means there is more money for stockholders.

the people running the government - the Nazi Right - are there because the voters elected them. What you should be focusing on is eliminating the Electoral College, removing the right of approval from the extremely undemocratic Senate, eliminating money from the election process and gerrymandering.

Each House member will have less say diluting any advantage you believe will come to the individual citizen. That many legislators is a recipe for chaos which is why we have a representative democracy, not a true one.

We have term limits; they're called "elections". Don't like the person representing you? Vote them out. Or is the issue that you don't like who other people are electing. Making the issues of age & being out of touch an election issue is not unethical. But I'll take Bernie over most decades younger.

Compare wages to the cost of child care. These days both parents need to keep their jobs to pay the rent/mortgage. Grandma isn't a SAH wife or mother anymore; she's working. Or she lives in another state. We won't even talk about health care which is often unaffordable even with employer insurance.

How tall do you think he is? He's second from the left in this photo. Melania & Ivanka are both 5' 11" without their 5" high heels, Jared is 6' 3". All Donald's sons are taller than he so he looks shorter than he is. He was 6' 3" by all accounts until he aged & started losing height as we all do.
