The EU has just made sure its biggest bargaining chip in the negotiations over Ukraine's future is no longer subject to national vetos. And that is even true independently of the fate of the reparations loan because now a qualified majority is required to unblock the funds again. Well done.

The way Trump talks about the problems he caused by unilaterally imposing tariffs is fairly insane, even by his standards.

Good piece but I am curious as to how Finnish parties are going to react to this specific and deliberate attempt to interfere in Finnish politics. Who is going to resist, who is going to try and take advantage....we could explore that a little more. Track record on this ain't good
