Really hoping Anka’s smugness comes back to bite him at some point. Suggested 8th would be a realistic aim at the start of the season. Acknowledges without a midfielder we won’t make huge strides forward. But is absolutely desperate for INEOS to stick a fork in Ruben.

United’s prospects would be massively improved if Luke Shaw was physically able to play at wing-back. We don’t have an effective LWB elsewhere in the squad. Yoro was crap against Everton too, so perfect scenario for me - Shaw-Martinez-De Ligt-Mazraoui-Amad.

Not really looking forward to the game tomorrow. First time in a while. Was nice to have reached a point of feeling excited about football again. But a couple of injuries, an awful performance/result later, and I’m filled with dread again. Very tough game at Palace. Draw would be a decent result.
