Dogs. Tea. Ham Baguettes. Steadfastly Amor-IN.
It’s number 2 for me, behind the brilliant if admittedly obvious, Pogues.

I appreciate that. I don’t have an issue with it. It’s the same for everyone.

I think because it’s almost certainly an accident. Personally don’t see that a player should be punished if their foot slips.

How very dare you.

And the ‘no, no, no’ guy from the Vicar of Dibley? This is RANDOM. Must have watched this with my eyes closed, previously.

Unless it’s Leona Lewis, as just happened.

I saw many things written today that aged much worse David!

All absolutely correct. Memories are incredibly short. The same conversations get forgotten from one week to the next.

Dark orange for me. Closer to red than yellow.

Dorgu is a different player for Denmark. Just another for whom the pressure is too much. Unfortunately you don’t find that out until you get them in.

Don’t disagree, it can’t be. If you have full-backs playing wing-back, it naturally ends up as more like 5 at the back. I don’t think that is how Amorim wants it to work. He wants attacking players out wide, then it’s very much 3 defenders, which can’t be considered negative.

Which is fair. Personally I don’t care about formations as long as we win games. It’s all shit since 4-4-2 died anyway. We need an entire new midfield (I’m including wing-backs in that). And if we had effective players in those positions, the tactics would make far more sense.

It’s not the players they’re moaning about. As usual.

I’m not convinced. I simply think at some point we need to give a manager a proper chance. I don’t think 12 months is enough for anyone to make significant change. I have zero appetite for another manager change that ‘might’ make things better. We’re improving, but consistency will be hard to find.

And this is why he can’t win. That is a very decent result and a very solid second half performance. But according to our own ‘supporters’ it gets reduced to 2 moments of quality against a tired side.

As for ‘certainty’ of success - who are these managers that guarantee success? We should get one.
