Here's a super simple, almost fool-proof sweet pancake recipe.

I like to roll them and drizzle with agave syrup and lemon juice. How do you like yours?

It's a peanut butter, chocolate, and miso blondie kind of weekend.

It's a recipe I'm working on. What do you think of miso in puddings? Are you a fan?

I am really happy to have one of my recent articles published in the @vivacharity magazine.

You might have read this one before, but it was nice to see it in print. It's been a while.

It's day 1 of our half term break. Who else heads straight for the salad bar at the all-inclusive? Sometimes, it's the only way to get something that's certainly vegan, but this hotel is crushing it with vegan options!

What are your safe options for a vegan meal at an all-inclusive hotel?

I know lots of people don't agree with this, and maybe I felt the same back in the early days of my vegan journey. But how can you fight oppression against one group and turn a blind eye to another?

Should we expect our GPs to discuss the environmental effects of our diet and lifestyle?

I think we've seen everyone's true colours since October 7th 2023. I've lost friends, but I've also strengthened some relationships. I've even learned things about myself and what veganism means to me.

Working on my fluffy pancake recipe for a Sunday morning treat.

The first book is written and currently being edited. Now, I'm working on a particular type of recipe to fit the theme of my 2nd book, which is slowly, slowly underway 🤫.

I resisted for a long time, but having kids hanging off me whenever I sit down made the decision for me. I'll always love paper, but the convenience is great. Especially for travelling.

I’m a part time librarian and I just want to echo what I’ve seen other librarians say recently: there is a HUGE uptick in requests for social justice, climate justice, abolition, history, etc books and I just want to say nobody is giving up the fight. If anything people are fighting harder #library

- vegans have been demonstrated to have a reduced risk of all cancers
- saturated fat, which is found primarily in animal-derived foods, is associated with breast, colon, and prostate cancers

- dairy has been associated with prostate cancer

- a higher dietary fibre intake reduces the risk of cancer, and vegans tend to eat more fibre
- processed red meats have been demonstrated to definitely cause bowel cancer

- red meat has been associated with several cancers, including breast, colon, lung, and liver
I'll always be vegan for the animals first, but I love the fact that veganism is better for everything. Including our health.

On World Cancer Day 2025, let's have a look at some of the benefits of plant-based eating for cancer risk.

Just another reason to #govegan
