Something every 2026/28 Dem should commit to is investigations of any company that did deals with Trump. A kind of forward guidance to get companies to think twice in advance of what’s coming.
Fox News will applaud this but can you imagine their coverage if President Biden hatched a secret plan to take over Fox News and revamp its programming to be nicer to him

Republicans have mastered conjuring up a "debate" around legal principles they don't like without having to bother actually raising any factual or legal arguments.
Conservative theory of jurisprudence used to be about "precedence," "continuity," & even "intent."

The latter part here is also extremely important.
They're saying not only has everyone been wrong for 160 years, but that they can unilaterally impose their "corrected" understanding without an act of Congress.

The official policy of the Trump Administration is ignorant bigotry. We’re asked, under principles including charity, to assume that people support the administration despite that policy, not specifically because of it. I am increasingly unwilling to extend that charity.

It turns out a sucky job market, skyrocketing insurance premiums, masked goons disappearing anybody who "looks like an immigrant," and nonstop blatant corruption aren't very popular among the American electorate.
My parents (broadly liberal but not especially tuned in) brought up Trump murdering South American fishermen completely unprompted yesterday. That's how they framed it, too. Maybe things are breaking through?
