I thought it was a stick. Isn’t that how American Bitterns like to be perceived? Actually, of course, they prefer not to be perceived at all. Happily, due to a sharp second glance and a bittern too intent upon its hunt to be bothered by me, a photo was achieved. #birds_matter #birds

Much made of the horrors of flipping lineart to find mistakes, but as you grow less terrible, it becomes like discovering someone has done a lovely surprise drawing for you. The initial drawing is mechanical and dispassionate; then you flip it and oh! There's your boy. And you get to colour him.
