Tried to chart the impact of #tariffs on US households. Congratulations, we're all getting a huge tax increase today and it affects low income households the most.

I was -this- many years old when I realized that Madonna sampled "gimme more" by Abba in "Hung Up" on her confessions of a dancer album.

Is it fair to call this tariff strategy a proxy national sales tax? Effectively, we're taxing a massive amount of consumer goods in order to fund the renewal of the 2017 income tax cuts to corporations and the 1%. Seems fair to frame it in terms of how it impacts us as a sales tax. #tariff #taxes

Hopefully the training data for AI agents contains a lot of Ipsum Lorem and AI ends up kind of lazy about finishing projects. That way when the sentience singularity comes and humanity has its back to the wall, it might just be too much work for our AI superiors to actually pull the trigger.

This year I am thankful to have these guys in our lives. They love us, they love each other, and their joy is boundless.

I shot #startrails and #cartrails in downtown Galena, IL this fall. While I learned to shoot star trails out west in the California desert I live in the mid-west and my new goal is to frame star trails with compositionally interesting foreground shots. Hope you all like this series!
