Don’t know about odds, but I think that is def on the table now; what not even a year ago would have been incomprehensible is now in the realm of β€œwell, that could happen.”πŸ˜₯

Women are being erased at the Pentagon. Women are being erased from history. And now a woman has been erased from the desecrated White House.
NEW: NBC News confirms that the Jacqueline Kennedy Garden, on the east side of the White House, has been destroyed as part of the demolition of the East Wing.

Couple of shots from my walk this morning, two perspectives. I thought the lake looked lovely today.
And now I'm wondering about my mental health. I've never much cared for crowds, but I've never reacted to a crowd this way before. Maybe I should just stay at home more, and yell at these 40-year old kids in my neighborhood to stay off my fucking lawn.

But I had to leave early. I got overstimulated, I think is the best way to describe it (at least that's how my mind viewed it at the time). It was very people-y out there, and sooo many car horns from folx supporting whilst driving by.

Even ran into three people I know! Suffice it to say I was impressed and proud of my community.

Lot of older folx, and most pleasing to me was that there were a lot of young folx there, too. The variety of signs was immensely entertaining, and there were not a few folx dressed in animal costumes or blow-up costumes (most that I noted were T-Rexes, not frogs).

I went to our local No Kings Protest in Cary today. I'd estimate that it was half again - or even twice - the size of the June protest. The main street it was on, I'd say the crowd went on for about three-quarters of a mile or so, both sides of the avenue.

Come to think of it, it has been a while since I've been to the eye doc.
