Nice stand-in for "Not Justin" 😀

Performance and stat accumulation matters not in this card market, which is unfortunate. Yeah, I don't get it either. It's all hype driven.
I'm with you. It's not worth it.
Congratulations to the #BlueJays and their fans! What a series! Keep the momentum going against the Dodgers.

Respect to the #Mariners for taking it this far. This has been a fun #MLB postseason to watch. I didn't even care about it until the Yankees and Phillies lost!
That's a strong point. DeGrom definitely has mileage left in him, and we wouldn't have to sell the farm for either.

Remembering Tom Petty, born on this date in 1950
Also, Framber Valdez on a 2 year contract, with an option for a 3rd would be nice. He's a little younger than both Eovaldi and DeGrom, and Boras isn't his agent.
I am to a certain degree, as well. I'd give up Sproat before Tong. Williams has Benge right behind at center. Parting with Williams would not be a total loss to our farm system depth.
That's really nice. Are the side plates replaceable?
It's too much of a risk, and I doubt we'd have the money to sign him anyway. We're in a tough spot because we need to develop our young pitchers, and yet anything short of a playoff run next year will be a failure.
Tong, Sproat, and Jett Williams for Skubal. 🤔 He's arbitration eligible this year, and a free agent the next. Scott Boras is his agent, so he's absolutely hitting the market. He'd be a one year rental.

Are we guaranteed a world series next year with Skubal? #Mets I like Tong's long term upside.
Mets Expected To Show Interest In Tarik Skubal
It's anyone's guess if Tarik Skubal will be traded this winter, but the Mets figure to be involved if he's made available. Read more at MLBTR.

Baseball had the fewest number of #MLB debuts this season since 2014. Interesting write-up, and I suspect that the majority of these debuts were pitchers.

Chourio would make the deal sweeter.
Honestly, I'm not trading Tong or McLean. I wouldn't trade Vientos as I think he has less value than Baty right now. I don't think too many teams would want him. See where he is mid-season.

I'd trade Jett Williams before Benge. Sproat, possibly because he's older than Tong. And I'll take Chourio
That's an awful trade for the Mets.
