Day 2 of posting a cat every day we work without a contract. I am an @ofnhp.bsky.social nurse. This is my cat. Many of my patients have cats, and I distract them from thinking about the sutures I am removing by chatting about their cats. I LOVE my job AND we need a good contract. #OneVoiceOneFuture

Contracts expire IN SIX DAYS for many @ahcu.bsky.social union locals, including my own @ofnhp.bsky.social @aft.org 5017. I just saw our employer refused to open the door to UFCW 770 to accept a petition signed by hundreds of members.
So, it is not going as well as I'd hoped. #OneVoiceOneFuture

I went to my nephew's bday party, and i am feeling so thankful. My nephew and my own kiddo are loved so much and there is so much love that is in the world and ao much more is possible.

We need real offers! We are so far behind the Portland metro wages, and keep losing good staff. Its not a sustainable business plan for Kaiser to keep losing nurses, techs, etc (and MDs)! I've heard Hawaii and other regions are in same boat. #OneVoiceOneFuture
