Trans medical care are healthcare
Healthcare is bodily autonomy is a human right
If anyone doesn’t have bodily autonomy, no one has bodily autonomy.

Not parish level and not at my fingertips but every year I ask the vestry to articulate some standards about our common life. Things from “we don’t interrupt” to “read documents before the meeting” to a firm end time are part of it

I lived in AB for a decade as a non-citizen. I very rarely (less than 1/yr) needed to provide info about my citizenship.
This would enable racism and discrimination.
This is a waste of government time and taxes while healthcare and education are struggling.

As a priest who's been a priest longer than you have, I tell you, it is disrespectful of the dead to lie about them, even if the lies make them seem nicer or better. In giving memorials, it's difficult, but possible to tell the truth without insulting the deceased.

In 1965:

-42% of American adults smoked; it’s 11% now.

-The infant morality rate was 24.7/1000; it’s 5.6/1000 now.

-Overall life expectancy was 70 years; it's about 77 years now.

I mean, they just confirmed to me that they only notified people via the small print at the end of the bill. Which lists no reason.
That the agent said it was Canada-wide, all carrier thing is even less comforting. (I suspect he misspoke while telling the truth...)
