Our new research has found that jobs in occupations such as administrative, secretarial, customer service & machine operations, are declining at a much faster rate than previously predicted, and that between 1-3 million could vanish by 2035.

Our latest research has found stark inequalities in the distribution of SEND pupils across England’s mainstream schools.

In 2024/25, primary schools with the highest rate of pupils with EHCPs, had, on average, six times as many as those with the lowest rate.

Some mainstream schools in England have 6x as many pupils who need learning or behaviour support compared to those with the lowest rates. The findings come from new #NuffieldFunded research by @thenfer.bsky.social which explored the spread of pupils with special educational needs & disabilities.
