After seven months of stalled contract talks, Minneapolis educators have scheduled a strike vote.

Because families and educators want the same thing – strong neighborhood schools where every child can thrive. 💙🏫

Huge systemic & attitudinal changes have to be made in order for Ontario schools to be truly inclusive

Many see what is happening & think "Oh well, inclusion doesn't work"

Problem is that it's not being done the way it should be to begin with

And I hate to add, they've got their sights set on Canada. They'll use the same tactics to grow that 25% to tip elections, infiltrate schools boards& local govt, etc. Same as in the US. The young male conservative stats aren't an anomaly. They're a giant red waving flag of expansion, not containment

Okay, in my youth I had a Breakdancing Crew. We did shows at schools around our district and assemblies at our school. I was in 8th grade, and this video brought it to mind....I'm not old but time has passed since those days. Thank you for this @audubonballroom.bsky.social and @newyorkgraffiti_com

#combotober Day 18 - Favorite Guest Character (Street Fighter V, Akira Kazama)

First combo is just to set up the right amount of stun. Absolutely love how they adjusted her moveset to a more modern fighter, and it's such a cruel tease to what they could do with other Rival Schools characters too.

Gibberish uttered by a moron.

He might want to take a tour of how the socialized Scandinavians have figured it out to a great extent. They have millionaires AND national healthcare, excellent schools — the most advanced nations on the planet.

Another way to help is to reach out to local schools that may have unaccompanied migrant kids. My volunteer group connected with a title one school, and we do frequent care packages/gift cards/handwritten notes for the 25 teens in the school - they know in our big city they're a little less alone.

This administration isn’t making anything or anyone safe. Safe is not having our military deployed against our cities, treating undocumented worse than citizens who attacked the US Capitol and Congress, having children ripped from their schools and communities, having health science/ins ripped away.

When I first got to the statehouse, I worked with moms on both sides of the aisle to secure a historic investment in Texas public schools.

If you come for our public schools, be prepared to face Texas Moms.

Funding hasn’t kept up with inflation and I oppose police having a permanent presence in schools, which is what the SRO program is. Understand there are reasons that the police might be called, or deliver a presentation on safety to the school.

This @loewema.bsky.social guy is pretty vile. He's advocated for peaceful protesters to get beat, cheered a priest being shot in the head, sees nothing wrong with zip tying naked children in public, beating parents outside schools. These are America's Nazis.
