The thing that's also interesting is Disney plans to rerelease Avengers Endgame next year, so the issue isn't that Disney doesn't want to rerelease a "recent" movie.
It rather seems that Disney is in some ways too embarrassed by the sequel trilogy (despite TFA making alot of money)

Kinda crazy that one of the highest grossing Star Wars movies didn't get a re release in its tenth anniversary. Disney is allergic to money.

Last year I watched Tim Allen's Santa Clause... and I thought that was a big mixed bag. Which is why I'm going to watch it's sequel and see if that's any better.
