I used to have one of my Lucifer Fanvids pinned to my account at the 'bad place'. Don't think bsky does 'pinning' so I thought I would just post one here. Edited by me April 2020 'How You Like Me Now?' music by The Heavies

'The Exile: 'Heavy is the price I paid for love.' (1930) In the 1890s, Thomas Cooper Gotch established his reputation through painting symbolic female figures, distinctively dressed, each adopting a pose in the manner of early Renaissance art.
Beautiful, if not heartbreaking Loulou 😍

'The Kitchen.' (1925) Nora Cundell held her first one-woman exhibition at the Redfern Gallery in the year this work was painted. The Times critic wrote: 'There is no showing-off … only fine, simple flowing composition, there is life and truth, and beauty.'
Cleaning up my PC (I have 3 x 2TB drives with so much old stuff) before trying to transfer to a new machine. I came across a Lim Marvel Dance off fanvid that I'd saved, which just blew my mind (again). #Marvel #vidding #lim

The window became a prominent symbol in 19thC art, representing a threshold between the interior and exterior, and a space for contemplation and longing. 'View of Rome from the Artist’s Room at the Villa Medici,' by Constant Moyaux was painted in 1863.
Ouch! Take it easy Maz, hopefully it is only bruising and nothing more serious

'Autumn Garden.' By the end of the 1890s (the decade this work was painted) Ernest Biéler had become a recognized figure of the Symbolist and Jugendstil, or Swiss Art Nouveau, movements. In the early 20th century, his portraits carried more psychological vim.
Huzzah! Hope all goes well for you.
Makes a real change from the emotionally charged, brink of tears Lucifer portraits. Feel good art!
This is lovely Izzie, it radiates joy and you've captured it beautifully.

Trump is online positively wailing about this picture, because he is weak and vain and cares exponentially more about himself than anything else. That said, if there is something Trump does not want America to see, that means it is probably something every American needs to see. Please share widely.
Up to 'Fool for Love' last night. Still hits hard that one, magnificent (effulgent)
Yeah we didn't think it through... 😆
Definitely. Hope real life gives you a chance to do the other one.
😍😍😍😍 just gorgeous Sofia. If this is all you can manage for Lucitober, then we're so lucky already. 👏👏👏
Looking great so far, Kat. Do post the finished piece when it's done 😈

NEW: The British politician, his Russian intelligence handler & a Kremlin plot against the US & Ukraine.

My new piece about Nathan Gill and Nigel Farage for @thenerve_news in which we ask:

Why, even now, is no-one asking questions?

'Portrait of a Girl.' (1904) From early in his career, Ian Strang was recognized as a brilliant draughtsman. He was much admired for his portrait drawings, inspired by those of Hans Holbein in the Royal Library at Windsor Castle.
So hot! Wonderful to see these scenes together. Great gif set 😈💓💓💓
Great sketch Izzie. Love the folds in the shirt 😍
