Lyme Regis ammonites for #FossilFriday!

Visiting the hometown of Mary Anning, prospecting the same beaches she prospected, and just being in one of the places where paleontology first started to blossom — that was an incredible experience

This weeks #Lego #FossilFriday is #Oxalaia

In 1999 Elaine Machado, of the National Museum of Rio de Janeiro, went to the Cajual Island, where his team found a very weathered and very fragmented Jaw was found.

This week for #Fossilfriday we have another #Guess that #Lego #Fossil.

This one I would rate as medium. This is known from fragmentary material, is not Spinosaurus.

Comment your guesses and I will post the answer tomorrow (and to anyone who guesses correctly).

it appears plagiorizer William Toosey tries his shit again, that's my Propalorchestes in his "Journey through the Cenozoic".
I suspect this is just the tip of it. Many of these are just other people's work with a new texture slapped on top.
Lots of JRC art here.

Okay, so it's not as comprehensive as I was hoping. Like he said, there are other alt-brick companies worth a look out there. And I second his recommendation at the end, to seek out JANG's Other Bricks channel on YouTube for previews and reviews of alt-brick stuff.

I am an AFOL, an Adult Fan Of LEGO.
In the past few years, the prices of sets have majorly increased, and some of the quality has not been there.
Other companies are catching up to, and even surpassing LEGO in quality. This is a good alt-brick companies overview.

I want to stress here for journalists covering Kennedy and his goons that this war on public health is driven by big money.

The wellness industry is a massive, massive grift.
Mr. Kennedy said it’s an individual choice as to whether or not to vaccinate.

Then he and his minions started taking that choice away by making FDA approval of some vaccines impossible.

This weeks #Lego #FossilFriday is #Koolasuchus

In 1978, the original fossils were found in the coastal rocks near the town of San Remo, Victoria, Australia.

In 1986 the fossils were mentioned in a publication by Anne Warren and R. Jupp.

This one I would rate as medium. While this lived alongside dinosaurs, it wasnt one of them.

Reply your guesses, and I will post the answer tomorrow (and to anyone who guesses correctly).

With #Stargate coming back. Im getting back into doing the odd Stargate themed render. In this one, i reskinned the VFX models of the F302 to have the #USAF #Thunderbirds livery and put them in formation as if they're prepping for an airshow somewhere. What other stargate renders do you want to see?

Guys. Please stop dropping into my replies on any post that doesn't mention Epstein and accuse me of being distracted. Once you have more lawsuits filed to release the files than I do, we can talk. Until then, I can hold more than one thought in my head. Thanks!

My law firm is currently litigating 61 voting and election cases, including 12 redistricting cases. We have four cases in one stage or another before the Supreme Court.

These cases — and others like them —
will play a pivotal role in whether we have free and fair elections in 2026 and 2028.

It is impossible to understand the writing, speaking, & policy views of Ezra Douthglesias & all of the other pundits & journalists still at the Nazi Bar in 2025 without grasping this essential point about the information environment in which they are writing, speaking, & forming their policy views.
If you’re a journalist who’s still on Twitter, from now on in your writing you have to replace “the American people want” with “troll bots in Eastern Europe demand”

Being there makes your judgment suspect. I don’t care how savvy you think you are, you’re marinating in a disinformation campaign.

In 1987, Guillermo Heredia found what is thought to be a left tibia of Argentinosaurus on his farm. He thought he had found petrified logs.

In 1989, the Argentine paleontologist José F. Bonaparte initiated a larger dig at that site.
