The beta will be released on itch on October 14th and will include digital versions as well as a printable booklet. A physical beta will go on sale at the end of October.

I think the problem that I personally run into is that I'm really bad about letting go of some of the control on this one 😅 But, I'm always super appreciative for the players I've got that do help out a bit

I think I've hit a realization on why I burn out so hard as a game master: It's because there's just so much that goes on my plate, from planning, scheduling, poking people for scheduling, and running the games themselves. I need to find a way to offload some of this, or really focus on slowing down

Veil of the Void. To this day, it's still one I boast about for having a lot going for it, particularly in how it handles PC advancement, and it was the first indie game I ever played.

For tons of folks, there was that -one- game that blew the doors open and showed what #TTRPGs could be. The one that started the #IndieGame rabbit hole.

Well, after feeling stuck for a bit, I've been using the day off to work on some small things for my #mech game to get it more or less ready. Adding in a few starter builds so people can grab and go, plus adapting my playtest into an introductory adventure.

Something that has never made sense to me in the tabletop hobby is people hating on GMs who run paid games...just, why? It doesn't have an impact on your game and if you don't want to pay, just don't?

#Tabletop folks: you know how annoying it gets when you’re playing something like D&D and you can’t roll above a 10? I have the solution for you!

Switch systems to a roll under game. Then, your dice will try to betray you there and start rolling high again. Simply swap back and forth as needed

Something I've come to realize as a #gamemaster is that I just prefer to run my games shorter and tighter. The longest I've done in a while was around 3 hours, and it's honestly just been enjoyable to do so

When you lose yourself in a book, it’s called transportation. External stimuli fade, and the fiction carries us away.
