It’s the last game of the regular season. It’s October 18th, a month into autumn, and the forecast says 79 degrees tonight. WTF am I supposed to do with this team scarf while the earth dies screaming?

Yes, it does look like the government accounts joining Bluesky are real, including Homeland Security and the White House. They're tweeting about it on X.
Do they just drop the award on the ground? WTF? Are they under the impression that the original author was their own translator?
I’m still reusing my bag. I just leave it in the trunk with the spare tire. I haven’t been able to go to Fairway for probably almost ten years now, but that’s what my bag says.
I put it right on the front burner and ignored my backlog for it. Totally worth it.

Finally got around to Snatcher. Definitely a great story, and it just works so well. The style, the music, the writing, the acting – all on another level.
Apparently, the character was in marketing only, the work of mad men.

Just a reminder to check for your name in this list of books that OpenAI trained from. If your name is there, they probably owe you several thousand dollars.

OpenAI cried that if everyone eligible author files, the company will go bankrupt, so I'm alerting every author I have ever spoken to.

About sixteen years ago, I was teaching an intermediate ESL class, and I had my students working in Google Docs. I pointed out to a student that the phrase should be two words: a lot. Google underlined it and suggested the correction: alot. The digital backwash has just continued to get worse since.
Yeah, but in pretty short form to frame the situation to showcase my continued desire to be part of the program.

Ah yes, finish shooting all the terrorists after your homework's done, won't you? (This is a very weirdly pitched VGHF-scanned ad for Rescue: The Embassy Mission, aka Hostages.)
My Target barely has any PS5 games. I’ve got a full aisle of Nintendo, including the usual worthless junk, but the other stuff just keeps shrinking.
It’s great that NES emulators and Mister cores have achieved such incredible accuracy in passing 128/128 tests, including many edge case scenarios. However, the authentic NES experience is multiple failures on boot, so unless your core/emulator makes me hate the hardware, what’s the point, really?
Soporific my ass. That shit was top notch.

And yes, I’m sure I’d enjoy your collaboration on Daredevil too.
Great analog sticks and triggers. Loud, clicky face buttons. False diagonals on the d-pad, no pivot.
The 240p to 480i transition on my Morph 4K was such a bother to me that I just disconnected it. I used that scaler for all the 8-bit and 16-bit stuff no problem on Mister. It was great; even Saturn was, but once I started PS1, I had to just disconnect it. Too many resolution switches in those games.
No rush, man. Global economy is a disaster. Local economy is too. Let’s just roll with what we’ve got for a while. I mean, prices just went up on them FFS.
Loved it then. Love it now.
I finished The Misadventures of Tron Bonne last night, and I have to say that the voice acting is perfect. They absolutely nailed it. The casting was spot on, and the performances were EXACTLY what they needed to be.
I think most people would be a lot happier and healthier if they weren’t so concerned with the romantic and sexual escapades of celebrities.
Maybe they could get this David Mack to write a foreword for a reissue of one of David Mack’s Wolverine novels featuring a cover by David Mack.
I just ordered a CD player. It’s really past due. I’ve had these albums sitting here untouched for too long. Long live physical media.
