Genuinely never locked in harder to my novel than when I deleted Instagram off my phone. I'm sorry, book community, but you are really distracting and the constant self-promotion just makes me miserable and exhausted.
The new draft has 70k now. Looking forward to querying it next year

Hearing the people in my cello section talk about how much you "should" pay for even a "good" cello makes me super self-conscious because I don't think I paid anything close to that but she's the best cello ever
