Only 79 yr old in history to have ear cartilage grow back.

A true lost art.

He did the poster for a movie I just watched

"Sir, I wish to tender my resignation. Your valet wanted to play this little piggy went to market with my foot."

"Well, you are the footman, Cheavers."

Ooooh. This sounds like it will be a good listen. 👍 👂

KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN was a total bomb. It appears that it made about $900,000 over the weekend.

Wonder if it made less than A BIG BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY.

"Report, Number 6!"

"Our space laser is undergoing some minor repairs, our submarine that swallows other submarines requires an oil change, and it's Dyson's birthday."

"Send a card to him signed - Best Wishes from F*ckin' Albert Moses."

"No incendiary?"

"No."

Wonderful. Did they ever do a FROGS (1972?) cover?

Back when MATCH POINT opened with a special screening at The Cinema Society at Lincoln Center, I went w/two friends for a day of visiting Woody movie locations in NYC and then went and stood outside the screening to watch celebrities. Saw that cafe and the restaurant in MELINDA/MELINDA plus more.

We can only hope, but it is doubtful with his standing with the cowardly critical and cultural cadre of those in charge.

"Allen may have ended up the villain in his own story, but he must be given credit for having given Keaton to the world."

Such snippy shitty writing.
tfuturist.bsky.social
Wonderful.
Bookmarked.

Thank you for those words.

As an aside, love how that room of celebs and movie stars are hysterically laughing, but NOW won't even mention his name. Noticed the cable news tried to avoid it a bit, too, in her obit

But, She never wavered in her friendship to him.

Sadly that Free Press article hit a paywall.
But that first paragraph comparing her to Huckleberry Finn in NYC is great.

Posted this a couple of days ago, but not sure if you saw this very funny salute to her at the AFI. Stay with it until she takes the stage.

Got sad reading that Keaton's (real last name Hall) Dad called her "Di-Annieee" as a nickname. Makes the name Annie Hall even more poignant. Movie is truly a love letter to her. The Woodman made sure she was unforgettable in that role.

Watch LOVE & DEATH or SLEEPER, too. She was a master comic.

Take a gander at how stoned Richard Dreyfuss is in this 1977 Oscar night group photo.

Another Sunday at the Santa Monica Pier with Peter Lawford slurping on a double scoop coned serving of soft serve ice cream

Just saw the movie.
Thought: To fill 14 cavities, the resulting bill (sans insurance) would have needed Jeffrey to rob a bank.
