How can anyone hate on Sauron/Annatar’s look? He’s absolutely perfect, especially with that sweet little bow in his hair—my precious Belle of Middle-earth. I hope that in the next season of rings of power, they make him look even more badass!

There’s also an argument somewhere in there that the Silmarils were morally neutral despite containing the light of Valinor and Galadriel’s fate is in her own hands, too.

And in the same way it isn’t the Silmarils’ fault that Morgoth rejected their goodness, it isn’t Galadriel’s fault that Sauron ultimately chose the path of evil.

Rewatching season one — “Fëanor’s work nearly turned the heart of the great foe himself” can be read as a parallel for Sauron’s character journey in season one with Galadriel, of his heart *nearly* being turned by her light.

I hesitate to call any fandom theories “delusional” after Sauron proposed to Galadriel in season one and then was kissed by Elrond in season two. You really don’t want to take anything off the table when it comes to The Rings of Power theories.

We’ve been having a heat wave but it was blessedly slightly less hot this morning

Oh man! I’m glad I never heard this as a kid. It sucks that the male fans have done so much to push us out, but it feels so much worse to hear it from its creator.

We had a somewhat chilly day here and that feeling of almost-autumn brings me back to The Rings of Power. I started a re-watch today after listening to the soundtrack in the car. It was so lovely to return to the series after taking a few months off to finish my book. I hope you’re all doing well. 🤎
