Before it became a MMO Warcraft was an RTS. The second game used some ancient memes as cheat codes, like "all your base are belong to us" to win a level. Comically magic was so powerful it actually could still kill you if you used the invulnerable cheat "its a good day to die"

Just so it's clear. It's not allowing AI because it's trying to create a clean dataset for training AI. It's not because any of the involved parties actually care about human created art.
