They’re all the same!
Today we saw fascist, hyper-violent vic police uphold the far-right by brutalising many of us, while facilitating the nazi white supremacist rally at parliament they treated with kid gloves.
We stand in full solidarity with many of us injured, hospitalised and arrested by the racist violent gang that is Vic Police.
Cops targeting us—with pepper spray, battens, pepper ball guns, stinger grenades and rubber bullets—is no accident. Cops here have their origins in anti-Aboriginal death squads that repressed First Nations resistance. Cops continue to murder First Nations people with impunity. Cops are paid fash who enforce the capitalist colony.
Let’s not forget, racist ALP governments are responsibile for imperialist genocidal war to the record expansion of cops and prisons on the back of reactionary white public panic over ‘crime’.
Police attacks started early when they brazenly tried to infiltrate the crowd to arrest people. People resisted the police assaults, including with de-arrests and defensive counter tactics that at times slowed cops. We’ll need to be prepared for more of that, with more people in future.
Racist flags were captured and a cop effigy burnt. We’ll need the energy we had today next time! Love and rage—take care.

State police just made a push, forcing people back north into the intersection - and into the path of oncoming local traffic. *Not one* of all these cops is currently doing traffic control, at least not so far as I can see.
