I got a new laptop at work and it has decided to wake up at ridiculous times during the night, lighting up the external monitors with it.
I have yet to figure out what is causing it and I am extremely annoyed by it.

I began this journey in the last 8 months and it is definitely one of the most challenging things to deal with. Being a care giver while having a full-time job really makes you feel like you have 3 jobs. I struggle to even communicate how difficult this is and there is absolutely no end in sight.

I don't post much about work, but today I added an index on a database for one of our top regressed queries. It resulted in a noticeable drop in CPU. Execution time dropped 83% and this is for a query that executes ~10k times an hour on just this DB. Now to deploy to the 22k other DBs. #sqlserver

I spent the weekend trying to decompress from the last year of my life. Upon arriving at home I learned my mom was in the process of being scammed. I frantically went to her house and we were able to quickly shut it down but she still is out $1000.
