Yeah I've got faith RE9 will deliver on scares. Also lmao I just realised I accidentally typed re6 instead of re7, the only scares I got from RE6 was the horror that this is where RE had ended up.

I think I'm too fond of Nemesis to find him scary anymore even if he's stressful to deal with lol, Im like oh hey theres Nemmy. With Mr X Im more like, this fuckin guy again.

There's several moments in REmake and RE6 that gave me a huge sense of dread, House Beneviento is also a good choice for this too. Og RE2 scared the shit out of me as a child but I'd say Mr X is more of a stress causer than actually scary lol.

OG RE2 gave me nightmares as a child for months lol. When I first played RE7 I remember Jack smashing through a wall like Mr X in and Mia crawling up the stairs made me jump.

Yeah it certainly takes the horror aspect away when your protagonist dies cool flips while saying I've liners lol. RE7 was super creepy to play through, the 1st person perspective definitely adds to the fear factor and it was nice to have a normal protagonist again.

I heard the reason Village is noticably less scarier is because Japanese audiences found RE7 to be too terrifying lol. It's so stressful on a first playthrough.

What Resident Evil game do you consider to be the scariest in the series? For me personally it's a toss up between REmake and RE7.

And she knows he's going to mutate into a monster and that he will hunt down their daughter to implant her with a g embryo, so even if she cant shoot him why not try the vaccine, worst case scenario he stills dies but Sherry is kept safe. 2R Annette apparently doesn't even love William anyway.

The healing factor was just a theory I wasnt being serious. The fact that Annette chooses not to even try and save her husband with the vaccine when she doesn't know the extent of his injuries but does know he's infected is a plothole, she was ready to kill him with a gun but not try another option.
