Gardening 🌱frens, question. Planted different types of garlic and shallots back in October as the folks in the nursery instructed. Since Texas has weird weather, we had a very cold snap then the 80s. Think garlic got confused. I’ve been told to just let it be. But I did notice there are some soft 1/

I am so over the person’s cough. Good news is that it’s not COVID. Bad news is that it’s still keeping me from a good night’s sleep. 😾

The person had to go out and wanted to pick up some cough medicine at a pharmacy near the mall. Worst idea ever! Traffic in vicinity of the mall was insane. People forgot how to drive. What could you possibly want so badly to put up with this? Also getting curbside pickup spots are all taken. 🤬

Something else to be grateful for is this awesome calendar from @carsonpemcorgi.bsky.social that was waiting g for the person when she came home. She says she is going to be the envy of everyone at work. Thanks, nephews! (I thought it was slightly rude that mom included your bath torture pictures.)❤️

This is the first Thanksgiving for Sophie & Colin Hortman without their parents, Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and Mark Hortman who were assassinated along with the family dog in an act of political murder. National guards troops were not deployed to the state in response.

This ad about a law protecting women’s rights in Chile is great. When will we have this kind of law here? Certainly not in the next three years.
Este es el spot que CNTV rechazó y no quiso transmitir 🙄

Want a dose of reality? Try renewing a CD with a decent rate. Not only are rates not great, but it used to be that the longer you kept it in the higher the interest. Nope. With the unpredictability of Trump’s moods, the long term investments have crappy rates. Nothing is great under Trump.

In a stroke of true genius (not) DFW decided to live rideshare pick up from arrivals where it makes sense to departures. People then have to drag a number of bags to ONE elevator. It’s like the airport doesn’t want people to travel.

Mexico City airport is usually a chaotic place. It is complete madness. If you are elderly, disabled or have any issues getting around, cancel your travel plans now. After years of neglect by Morena’s AMLO, they gov decided it would do to have a shabby airport for the Wirld Cup. 1/

This is just one example of many of how Trump’s and RFK’s HHS policies are affecting people. And just like he is murdering people at sea, they are condemning people to death here every day because of ego and misinformation. There is a special hell for them both. www.newyorker.com/culture/the-...

The person while doing person things is having lunch on native lunch time and listening to what has to be the most vapid conversation ever. This is the type of conversation that reminds her why she likes cats and dogs. Sigh.
