🚨 Brexit was sold on sovereignty.
No one said 1,500 people a year would die.
Time to rejoin.

This is exactly the same conversation that @mrjamesob.bsky.social has been having about #brexit for years. Contempt for the conman, compassion for the conned.
MAGA remorse. It's an actual thing. And there's no need to forgive or trust them ever again.
But we should refrain from browbeating them.
Resist the temptation. Allow them an exit strategy, to return to decency. They are the ones who can lead others out of the cult.

We should welcome MAGA remorse: I should know — it saved me
Many Trump voters have doubts. There will be a gradual, and then sudden, awakening. We must be ready to help

Even Elon Musk's biased Grok estimates the cost to UK of Brexit at about £300bn a year (about £60bn in tax).

All the 'black holes' we have are just Brexit.

Stop filling them in with tax rises and Public Service cuts and just get rid of Brexit.

They, the monarchy, have covered up countless despicable and inappropriate behaviours and actions for centuries. Windsors are no different. The monarchy holds Britain in 17/18/9th century for their own benefit helped by the mawkish sentiment of the public. Same people who voted Brexit
● Andrew Windsor remains 8th in the line of succession.

●King Charles III will privately fund his new living arrangements despite Andrew being very rich indeed

● Actually we don't know how wealthy Andrew is because his mother's will is sealed for 90+ years

● Sleep well serfs.

● Know your place.

It isn’t just that what Badenoch did was much worse in that it was a criminal imprisonable offence… but also because the responsibility was all hers…whereas Reeve’s agents have admitted it was their responsibility & fault that the licence was not applied for

Lisa Nandy voted for Brexit
So why does the BBC label the academic and economist Faiza Shaheen an "activist" but refuse to do the same for the former academic, turned anti-migrant activist Matt Goodwin?

Let’s just imagine for a moment what could happen if the Brexit process in the UK were found to be flawed or subject to foreign interference

And that’s the point.

While some people are concerning themselves —quite rightly— with rejoining the EU, there are still people affected by Brexit and the ongoing stalemate/impasse that hurts them every single day.
And I should add that any cherry picking you think I may want for British people living in the countries is no different to the cherry picking that has already been done with regards to the withdrawal agreement which is good but inadequate in scope.

Before any rejoining, separation needs to be fair

Enough is enough with r/wing Tory/Reform confected outrage and their ridiculous double standards.
Bad losers. Bad politicians.
I say fxxk off to all greedy crooks who broke Britain's economy and trashed so many lives.
There were NO small boats before Brexit, this mess is on them.
Left: Kwasi-I-crashed-the-economy-Kwarteng criticising Labour for paying Hadush Kebatu £500 to leave

Right: That time Kwasi Kwarteng's government was paying £3,000 to volunteers to go to Rwanda

Whatever you think of Labour's policies, know that the Conservatives were so much worse
