Starmer and Reeves are expected to argue that if it hadn’t been for Brexit, the economy would be about £120bn bigger by 2035 than current forecasts suggest it will be.

So, hopefully, we are about to see some honesty about the damage Brexit has inflicted.

There is no need for a moral panic about the UK's welfare system.

Far from perfect but recent discourse is nuts

Spending is controlled, not spiralling

Worklessness is near record lows

Finally. Let’s start holding Farage to account for the relentless shitshow that is Brexit.
Because..
“What could be more elementary than asking voters to judge a candidate on their previous assurances? What more basic function of democracy could we ask for?”

Here’s the latest 'scoop' being spread by right wing gobshites on Shitter. Except:
-he’s not a teacher, he’s an assistant
-the school didn’t sack him, he works for an agency
-they stopped using him not for putting up flags but for posting racist bollocks and misinformation online.

This is how Farage and Tice reacted at PMQs when someone raised the issue of one of their politicians accepting bribes to spread Russian propaganda. Apparently it’s funny to be a traitor.

So just like in the Weimar Republic, democracy ultimately died not through a violent coup, but by a group of scoundrels abusing a system that was based upon the antiquated notion that all elected officials would behave like gentlemen.

MAGA broke Congress when it decided that a Black man who had been elected President of the United States did not have the right to nominate a Supreme Court Justice.

After that, all that was left were insipid editorials like this.

If you don't know that Congress died years ago, where have you been?

It's time for Starmer to abandon the race to keep up with the economy-sapping immigration policies of the man who brought us Brexit in the first place. Until he takes that step, the “severe and long-lasting” impact of leaving the EU, identified by Reeves today, will only keep getting worse.
Keir Starmer's 'Brexit Is Bad, Let's Make It a Bit Worse' Strategy
The Chancellor just admitted that Brexit has been an economic disaster. It's time the Government stopped making it even worse by imitating Nigel Farage's damaging anti-migration agenda, argues Adam Bi...

Over 55,000 people have called on the government to keep Britain in the European Convention on Human Rights, standing against a reckless push to repeat the mistakes of Brexit. Today their names were handed in, a reminder that this country still believes in cooperation, justice and the rule of law.

For the first time in years, senior Labour figures are saying it plainly.

Wes Streeting: “I’m glad that Brexit is a problem whose name we now dare speak.”
Keir Starmer: “They lied to this country, unleashed chaos, and walked away after Brexit.”

The silence is breaking. The damage is undeniable.
