As a Democratic Strategist, I believe now is the time to be open and honest with the American people.

Which is why I believe we should be completely uncritical of the system that produced the leadership and circumstances of our present moment, and instead blame one man.

I get paid 789k, by the way
Feels like traditional media can only say "obey the desires of rulers".

Want to beat conservatives? Be more like them.

Want to be "moderate"? Take sides with power.

Want to return to normalcy? Calm down and speak up less.

Want to build? Deregulate
So many people still have a hard time recognizing that the Democratic Party leadership is completely in on the scheme. Just blatantly corrupt
The really say "the way you should fight the powerful, is to be subservient to them". And the worst part is, large swathes of America lap it up with glee
If people want to make sense of this: money (to these people) is not the end goal.

For them, money 1) creates a status, or class system and 2) with money they can purchase the power to dominate.

If everyone is doing alright, that attacks the ability to be gods on earth
TLDR; all fashion trends are performative: especially the normie ones
Similarly, it's weird how people always make fun of alt/expressive styles that are in fashion, but never the normie trends that are also extremely comformative. When every normie started wearing white tennis shoes, that's totally organic. But when a dude paints his nails, that's performative.
I believe that a poor person receiving paltry assistance is something to scrutinize, and that a stadium being built with taxpayer money is something to shrug your shoulders at
They've been saying that they want politicians who "run the government like a business".

This is what they mean by that.
I believe that it's morally OK to allow people to work the worst jobs without any rights, but not okay to abuse them publicly
My parents and I were huge recipients of welfare. I pretend otherwise
I am extremely scared of crime that kills one person, but do not consider it a crime when thousands are killed for money
Hello. I am an American Gen X moderate, and I want to live in a world that puts making money over everything, but don't want to suffer the consequences of that philosophy.
The amount of exposed endpoints is truly something to cherish in these dark times. No more webscraping for me. I'll drink it straight from the source
Pretty cool society we have where there's not a single good looking house built after 1975.

🧵 Volkswagen workers in Chattanooga have voted to authorize a strike against the German automaker after over a year of contract negotiations have failed to produce a fair contract offer. It is a historic first, as the first strike authorization vote at a non-Big Three automaker in the modern era.
Terrible, and to an extent it's been the present for a very long time.

All across America, a group of people are working the hardest and lowest paid jobs, with no rights or representation. People eventually accepted them as subhuman to rationalize the apartheid state. We need amnesty, yesterday
They don't realize telling these evangelicals "But we came from the head of purusha!" basically guarantees a visit to a burning stake.

Looks like Democrats will have to find a new option for 2028
As long as power has owned media, it's been full propaganda on the average. It's ALWAYS been like that.

20 years ago, they midwifed a lie that led to the murder of a million innocent civilians. Every moral panic, every "crime wave", and every puff piece serves power at the expense of people.
And the scarcity doesn't exist. We're collectively killing people for make believe.

One third of produced food is thrown away. Chain groceries will fire their employees if they choose to give it away, over throw it away. This is the nature of the system
What could go wrong designing a system of justice where the arbiters of justice are promoted based on how much they worship money?
They all have a dark triad disorder, manifesting itself in whatever rhetoric they can plausibly get away with
We've got to start saying agricultural landlords, unless proven otherwise
When power doles out suffering and inequality, they need to do it "politely". That way I can excuse it away!
Wow, the developers have really been pushing out a LOT of narrative patches recently for this model. Really hopeful for the patch on Middle East politics, I know that one has been extremely buggy and morally broken for quite some time
A freedom-loving people will not stand for the corruption and the power grabs we’re witnessing daily in our country. That's why millions of Americans took to the streets a few days ago, and it's why elections like the Virginia governor race will show the path to a better future a few days from now.
