Sent an original off to its new home & got a small order out today.

Fingers crossed we get a wee bit of snow in the next day or two!

It’s been so freakishly warm this winter, hoping we can get rid of all the billionaires & turn this good green earth around soon! Anyway, that’s all for now. 😇☺️🤷🏼‍♀️

The Winter Chanterelle

Acrylic painting of a cute lil yellowfoot mushroom in a bed of moss, with a moody forest background. I wanna live in this magical forest scene. 🍄‍🟫🥰

Hey pals, my friend is running an Instagram auction to raise money for her dogs surgery. The auction starts today & includes beautiful handmade goods like jewelry, art, ceramics, yarns, & more!

Go to @oreandstonecrearions on IG to bid.

If you’ve been to Leach Botanical Garden you’re aware of what a special place it is.

I went in January, it was beautiful and peaceful to have that escape, to meander the tranquil grounds right in SE PDX.

Please support them! I’m thinking of auctioning off original art to make a nice donation 🖤

"Helping" me "cure" my quick sketch. See what happens when I walk away?! I was going to add a fern frond and share it to main. Hopefully he didn't cure it too much. 🥴

It’s Superb 🦉 Sunday! Here’s a Pygmy Owl study. These precious pals are ferocious hunters considering their tiny size.

Kind of like me 🤷🏼‍♀️

Oddly enough, I was dreaming about owls last night. Maybe it was my cold med induced slumber. Maybe it’s Maybelline. 🤔

Still sick. I didn’t get much done today.

I was able to get the new stickers up on my non-Etsy site though!

Taking a stab at pressing some ferns.

I was pruning some of the old fronds back and decided to keep some of the less haggard trimmings to repurpose.

Went over lightly with an iron. Now smooshing them under a heavy acrylic block with a textbook on top.

Fingeys crossed they turn out!

What platforms are artists / small biz using as shops these days? I have Etsy, an Ecwid shop, & Squarespace (used as a portfolio.)

My main shop is Ecwid, & it’s a pain imo. I’d like to switch to something easier to manage & less clunky. Maybe Square, or add a shop to my squarespace?

New Camassia Quamash sticker! I recall seeing a meadow of camas as a teen & thinking it was lupine. I didn't understand the details, but I knew to take it all in because it was important.

Recently added to Etsy, along with 3 other sticker designs.

Remember her name: Aliya Rahman

Her testimony is everything and it deserves to be heard, by everyone. Decide for yourself.

It’s powerful. It’s gut-wrenching. And no one should have to survive what she did.

My sh0ps are closed for the general strike in solidarity with Minneapolis.

Instead let’s engage w/ community. Whether it be protesting, mutual aid, education, or contacting your reps.

PS. If you support my art this weekend instead of today, I'll throw in a free frog sticker.

look at them. murderers itching to murder again but these people chose to stay, to film, to witness, to risk being next, to risk having their families targeted, their names dragged through the mud before their bodies are even cold. i wish they did not have to be brave but i'm grateful that they are.
From Whittier a few hrs ago—after shooting & killing an ICE responder in Minneapolis, 37 yr old Alex Pretti, DHS agents brutalized a crowd that gathered & flooded the area w/ tear gas.
