Spatchcock dry-brined turkey with maple bourbon glaze.

That is all. That's the post.

According to the linear equation if you set your oven to 1000 degrees, you can cut the time down to 45 min.
broke: overnight brine, roasting a turkey for hours, obsessively basting

woke: shove the bird in a 500 degree oven for an hour and a half

I will go to the mat on this: the only legitimate way to cut a sandwich is on the bias. Perpendicular sandwich cuts are a war crime.

NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

This is me. I acknowledge the fundamental truth here, but I don't love this about myself.
Love to spend an hour and a half washing several days worth of pans and dishes because my brain refuses to do small incremental things like spending just 15mins per day cleaning up right after dinner.

(Not looking for advice.)

Meaningful work on old buildings... This client will give their barn another 120 years of life. We are temporary caretakers of the spaces we inhabit. What we leave for the next generation matters.

I feel seen.
Finally driving my first EV and can’t be the only middle aged dad now *obsessed* with regenerative braking and getting as many miles as humanly possible.

I, for one, am relieved that all the Senators still have their taxpayer supported health insurance. I'm not sure what you all are complaining about... Crisis AVERTED!!!!!
How about we shut down the government for this very popular and specific goal and then, hear me out, we hold out for like a month and a half and then, ok this part is important, after a watershed election where we ran the table, ONLY THEN, fold and don't get the one thing we said we wanted.

Mandami is going to implement charcuterie law. Every New Yorker will be allowed to consume only small bites of fruit, cheese, crackers, and small pickles.
Mamdani is going to implement Sriracha law. Everyone will have to slather hot sauce on their scrambled eggs
Mamdani is going to implement My Sharona law. Everyone will have to create songs with undeniable rock beats.

I'm enough of a Marketplace nerd that I was literally the first person at the door for the @kairyssdal.bsky.social talk... 2h early.

But apparently not enough of a capitalist to get a seat in the Reserved section.
