Here’s one I took in July (not that recent now that I remember it’s mid-October) of a pair of bald eagles.

Most of the power authoritarians have is freely given. We should not comply with them in advance.

Trump is far weaker than he looks. So is the GOP. We should draw them out, drain them at every opportunity, and fight for people’s wellbeing at every turn.

Seems like an appropriate time to remind everyone that, in particular, lower enlisted military members are not paid enough, and often live paycheck to paycheck.

They're more likely than civilians to be in single-earner households, and they have to keep working during a shutdown.

My PhD wasn't about space. It was a usewear and residue study of flaked glass artefacts that had been used for body modification, in the Pitt Rivers Museum. I made a bibliography of flaked glass and posted it to the Lithics-L back in 1998. Here it is if anyone is interested! 🧪 🏺
Flaked glass bibliography: a resource for lithics studies
I put this together for my PhD years ago, and sent it to the lithic email discussion list. Until recently it was still available online but ...

The Trump-Republican budget would be a disgrace under any circumstance.

At a time when inequalities of income and wealth in America are wider than they have been in more than 80 years — with the richest Americans taking home near-record amounts of both — the bill is shameful.
