Even TVs and microwaves? This is good to know! I've been going to that hidden place under the MacKay Bridge onramp, and I've got a dead keyboard/mouse combo that is going to its final reward as soon as I have a full bluebag of returnables.

We just lost our neighbourhood electronics recycling depot (and bottle/can return centre) in the heart of the Halifax Peninsula, so it gets harder to get rid of old electronics, but it's important to make the effort.

But don't dispose of that portable CD player, those things are gold right now.

Spending Thanksgiving Monday by installing Windows 11 on my partner's aging (but apparently compliant) PC, while she watches the horror movie MEN in the lounge room.

After a few error-filled attempts to run Windows media creation tool and/or download the W11 .ISO, not sure which is more terrifying.
