I support animal rights—do I look like a fucking alpaca?!

I’m a woman, and Carole Malone does not speak for me.

Carole Malone, "Youu can't say what women's rights are because you're not a woman"

Zack Polanski, "You're not trans are you. We can all say you're not that thing so you can't have an opinion" 🔥

Great source of tax revenue, would break link between drugs and crime, would improve public safety. Drugs should be treated like alcohol and smoking. The “war” on drugs has been lost. Time for some common sense.

It's revealing the importance being placed on Hamas returning the bodies of Israeli captives.

And yet no one cared about Israel's decades-long refusal to hand back many hundreds of bodies of Palestinians it was holding.

Did their families not need a grave to grieve over?

UK faces highest inflation in G7 this year and next, IMF warns.

Biggest cause is profiteering led by energy, water and food businesses. No govt checks it.

Real average wage stuck at 2008 level. 1% have more wealth than 70% of the population combined. Govts needs to remove cash from the rich.

Labour is telling you VERY LOUDLY who to vote for if you value human rights. And it's definitely NOT LABOUR.
goodlawproject.org
Woah! So Labour's position really is, 'telling us off for breaching human rights undermines the case for human rights'? Proper Trumpian stuff from Labour's answer to Suella Braverman.

Norwich train station used to have lovely independent coffee shop with great locally made cakes. Now it has been chain-stored like all the rest ☹️

Israel is using the failure to return the bodies of hostages as a pretext to violate the ceasefire themselves, but as Nour Odeh points out, the ceasefire agreement did not contain a timeline for the handing over of the bodies & Israel already knew it might take weeks or months.

Build what? Yes to social housing for those priced out of the housing market (council, co-op), but we need to recover long term empty homes and restructure the housing market to ensure it provides homes not speculative profit. And protect the environment while we’re at it.

Every person on the planet has countless numbers of microplastic particles in their body and we have no idea how much damage this will do over a lifetime. Yet plastic production is still increasing.

Opposite them stand Jews faithful to our people’s ethical tradition, who learned from the Holocaust an entirely different lesson: the calamity we endured was not meant to make us cruel but compassionate; not to harden our hearts but to bind us deeply to conscience

After two years of seeing children shredded, buried under rubble, and starved, our establishment newspapers' front pages finally have something to care about: Israeli hostages.

If only they had been this worked up about the dead, mutilated and malnourished children of Gaza.

Nigel Farage could never be trusted to run Britain after getting Brexit so wrong'.

Brexit is the biggest self-harm. UK economy hasn't recovered.

Farage, the part-time MP, collects millions from 2nd/3rd jobs, full time MP pay+exps; often missing from the Commons.

Pushes hatred to grab power.
'Farage could never be trusted to run Britain after getting Brexit so wrong'
No Brexit champion, particularly Nigel Farage, is worthy of high office after proving so conclusively wrong on such a seismic issue, says Mirror Associate Editor Kevin Maguire

Do we have a precedent for a this ? A national broadcaster ignoring possible treason , isn’t that in itself sort of treasonous 🥴 ?

Seems @Nigel_Farage is trying damage limitation on the Reform Russian Bribes scandal.

He’s known Nathan Gill for 20 years, and claims he knew nothing.

No one believes you, Nigel.

Keep the story moving. Questions must be answered.

The antidote to this is not ‘growth, growth, growth’. It’s respect for nature and a major redistribution of wealth. Meanwhile our governments are planning more destruction. Planet’s first catastrophic climate tipping point reached, report says, with coral reefs facing ‘widespread dieback’
