Just visited Grenoble (by train from Cambridge). Beautiful city in a stupendous location. Enhanced by trams, not many cars, city greening and vibrant street life. A Green Party mayor. Same size as Cambridge (though bigger met area). Bring on a unitary authority and @greenparty.org.uk in power.
