Revisiting an old idea of a Rock Paper Scissors themed 2D fighter. Made these pixel designs a couple months back and sort of forgot about them, then decided to make a little menu scene out of them.

Pixel art based on the movie theater, the Theatre Normandie that used to exist back home in the 70s. Only recently found out this place had existed since it had been shut down before I was born. Re-posted since the version I first put up had horrible compression #pixelart
Pixel art of an old movie theater in northern New-Brunswick Canada. The scene shows the Normandie theater in the center in front of a road and surrounded by grass. There are a couple houses to the left and behind the theater and the house behind the theater has a boat and some lobster fishing equipment in it's backyard. A couple people are walking about and some are walking to the theater. There are flowers and bugs all around the grassy areas, a couple crows eating garbage and an orange cat in the big grassy patch to the right of the theater. I tried to add a lot of stuff around to accentuate the vibe of what going to a movie theater in a small fishing town would have felt like back in the days.

Finished a new pixel art, based on a long gone corner store from my home town that existed in the 70s. No clue when it closed but it was long gone by the time I was born. Tried a right angled isometric view for a change on this one. #pixelart #pixel #acadie #newbrunswickcanada

The cat is actually based on my cat Sinclaire who was sleeping next to me while I worked on this. After doing those Toriyama studies I felt like drawing that cave barbarian again. Def feels like a big improvement over the first drawing of her I did. Don't have a name for her yet will figure that out later lol.

The latest DK Emerald rush challenge is bonkers hard. I've only managed to making it halfway to the Lanky Kong statue. But man it's so much fun, this mode has earned the 30 canadian bucks I spent on it at this point.

Got crafty this year, for my daughter's 2nd Christmas I made her a full on custom, hand made DonkeyKong golden book since she got so into DK watching me play Bananza. Gonna be hard waiting a whole month to give it to her!

Mostly followed the Mario golden book's story but added a couple extra bits.

won't have em for this weekend, but i've been getting a few more people at my table than I'd like lately asking *very pointedly* if i drew everything myself, so i designed a new sticker this afternoon that will hopefully quell some of those concerns.

In Morrow County, healthy adults were coming down with unexplained medical conditions, including diseases that usually afflicted the elderly.
