Last year I started playing (and sadly not finishing) FF7, and I got thinking about how Square during their PS era would still release games on Nintendo handhelds, and then I had a wild idea. What if FF7 wasn't so succesfull so they had to make a GBC version? #pixelart #gameboy #finalfantasy7

Finished a new pixel art, based on a long gone corner store from my home town that existed in the 70s. No clue when it closed but it was long gone by the time I was born. Tried a right angled isometric view for a change on this one. #pixelart #pixel #acadie #newbrunswickcanada

There's a garage/barn behind it, a couple trucks parked up front, lobster traps in the top left corner, a tall grass field on the right side of the pic and and a bit of a road showing at the bottom.

Bugs, flies, bees are scattered in different parts of the piece. A cardinal is sitting on the power line above the blue truck and to the right of the building a cat is sleeping in the grass. The cat is actually based on my cat Sinclaire who was sleeping next to me while I worked on this.

Now the new DK DLC being 30$ and weather or not it's worth this is def debatable. But I've gotten at least 15 hours of gameplay out of it so far and I've definitely paid more for games that I wound up playing less.

Honestly starting to think DK Bananza is my favorite 3D platformer. Obviously time will tell if I feel the same way about the game in a few years. But I'm still playing every day and I now have more hours put in DK:B 3 months in than I have in Odyssey in the last decade, and I love Odyssey.
