I really hate it when scientists keep saying that “we need to rebuild trust in science,” because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.

I heard Shithead Supreme really really really hates the TACO meme and doesn't want anyone to associate him with TACO because this acronym, TACO, which refers to Trump fucking up the market and which is indeed associated with Trump, makes TACO-head really mad. Again, that's TACO, T-A-C-O. :) #TACO

The only thing that bothers me about the "I've read the poem" response to this draconian immigration enforcement is how it involves self-concern. After they take them, they might take you! But it's still just as valid to oppose this shit even if it never WAS going to affect you personally.
