I also really dig the real-time combat, even though battles can be rather trivial; there’s definitely something there and I would love to see them expand upon it.
The story very much feels like something out of a Saturday morning cartoon, what with its goofy characters, but it has a lot of heart, which is something that I think was sorely missing from Scarlet/Violet. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but I liked it well enough.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A

Rating: 8/10

Setting the drama aside, Pokémon Legends: Z-A is a fun game through and through. It isn’t the prettiest nor is it the most technically impressive game out there, but it is fun.
Google: “The letter ‘F’ is too offensive, so we’ve removed it.”
If anything, it should make you overqualified.
You would think so, but if the documents that leaked are to be believed, then it sounds like most of the money used during development is spent on marketing by the Pokémon Company, not Game Freak.
It’s an all around sad situation, really.
My wife read/translated those leaked Game Freak documents and she said that it sounds like a lot of issues going on within Game Freak center around really poor management and TPC (The Pokémon Company) not lending enough support/resources during development.
I’m currently in the midst of playing Pokémon Legends: Z-A and I am quite enjoying myself. I’m not going to say that it’s the best or prettiest game, but it is fun.

Pokémon Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero

Rating: 6/10

Both parts were very meh, but my wife and I had a little fun catching some old/new Mons. Also, I might be in the minority here, but I much prefer the smaller Kitakami over the Terrarium.
Say what you want about Sony, but I could listen to Mark Cerny talk about anything for hours. The man has such a calming voice.

It runs at a locked 30 FPS on NS2, which is great, but 90% of the characters are an absolute chore to use. I really hope the follow up remedies that.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Rating: 6/10

I bought AoC around the time it launched and had to put it down because it ran like a hot trash fire on NS1. Fast forward a few years, I finally decided to give it another shot on NS2 and, uh, it’s still not that great.
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Rating: 9/10

In the words of Yoko Taro, “I truly believe that games made by Vanillaware are treasure of the gaming industry, and I hope they forever continue releasing games.”
I know that feeling all too well.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he actually did it.

LOL!! Panzer Dragoon Remake has an achievement for logging 100 hours in the game! When the campaign is barely two hours to begin with!

The artwork of Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen by Akihiko Yoshida used on the cover of the #SuperFamicom and NA #SuperNintendo releases as well as for advertising. Removed the seam between pages, logos/text, applying the usual clean/retouch process without upscaling.
