I'm 72. My earliest memory is my parents putting my younger sister in the bathtub w as much ice, alcohol & cold water as possible, trying to get her temperature down. She had measles. Protein (like brains) starts to "melt" at 105°F. That's why pregnant folks should take Tylenol if they have a fever.

So, my grandson's best friend was born in New Zealand, he & his nurse-mom r citizens of NZ, not USA. They've been here about 8 yrs, no idea if they're legal or not. Mom also has a daughter born here. They're moving back to NZ tomorrow. I'm so sad for my grandson & I'm going to miss his friend too.

This would explain how he recovered so quickly from what looked like a stroke a few months ago. It was probably a brain bleed. He needed an MRI to diagnose the damage and also needs regular MRIs to check for bleeding.
This also explains the hand bruises and stumbling gait.
