I played the demo for Song of Morus: Limbo Express by @sunnychowtheguy.bsky.social! The gameplay felt very unique, but the graphics and gameplay moved so quick that it triggered motion sickness. I still recommend playing it, though, it was fun! Enjoy the video! youtu.be/UHQ_CWa3ncE?...

I spent a whole day making this rattan suitcase. it's based on a real antique from a local history musuem. Hard to say what's so interesting about it, but I feel it does have some history worth telling.

Fun fact. The mechanic of this infinite wedding dine room is inspired by retro game. The world scrolling can technically be done with GameObject and object pooling, but I think instanced rendering will be better for the performance. 🧵

After finished my #Atari2600 homebrew game, I consider buying an Atari2600+. The original model is great (and It's made in Hong Kong), but setting up with RF Switch box and CRT sounds painful and costy.

My homebrew #Atari2600 game "Song of Morus 2600" is released. You can play the game online, or buy the ROM for 1 dollar (or download it hackily if you know HTML).

After lots of struggling with challenges that modern software development never has, it finally looks like a game. I never knew counting cycles is that important.

Most of the parts are placeholders. But after several nights struggling, I finally can render everything and shoot a bullet on #Atari2600. All coded in assembly!

Why is it so bizarre to position a sprite?!

Designing game for #Atari2600 is really hard, so limited.
I don't think #bataribasic is enough for my game idea.
I probably need to try it with ... Assembly.
Oh god.

This game level's deadline was supposedly Mid Autumn Festival. But then I got hooked to Open TTD. So just little progress. #devlog #indiedev #gamedev
