I've never seen this painting before but the first thing thst came to mind was #Gaza and that Acronym WCNSF Wounded Child No Surviving Family. Nothing in this world is more upsetting than thinking of a child alone in the world.

I feel so grateful for all the great ppl in my life. Every kind word & gesture has sustained me over the last while. With the mental health dx I have as easily as something could push you toward the brink the reverse is true too, acts & words of kindness can also pull you back from it #MentalHealth

Everyone thinks they will be the exception.

It won’t happen to them. They will “try harder” and overcome.

They think we’re failing.

It was awful Martina, so so jarring to watch them joke like they were just playing a video game or something, knowing those weapons were most likely used on children. I don't understand how it's still being treated as a war when it's widely accepted genocide was commited.

Neither did I, they can do things like this but not provide a second tier of child benefit for the poorest children in the budget ... the irony of giving Disney this for free ... I guess dreams only come true for some children.

Lol 😂 I do this with post it notes Emma like not necessary "i'm allowed" but your ok, everything is going to be ok type notes. It def does fill our cup altho I prob went to bed too early cause I was awake a good chunk of the second half of the night. But I think I just needed the day to be over.

A good mentor/friend quoted me that saying before about never fighting with a pig ... something along the lines of you both get dirty but only the pig likes it (altho I do think pigs are cute but thats an aside) anyway thats the mentality I decided to bring to Bluesky & to keep 😊🐖

This is true & interesting, reminds me of the line from one of d batman films where I think its Alfred who says something along the lines of "some people just want to watch the world burn" trying to imagine anything remotely interesting about Donald Trumps motivations for turning on his own citizens
