What we're seeing with all this new data is that the Brexit damage is only getting worse as time goes on. Companies aren't "adjusting". They're either leaving, downscaling or going under. From manufacturing to services to culture to farming & fishing, the decline is snowballing rhe longer we're out.
New analysis by the politically neutral House of Commons library says that Brexit:

- cost the average Briton between £2,700 and £3,700

- lost the Treasury up to £90bn a year tax revenue.

Rachel Reeves budget options could have been very different!

🔥 Rachel Reeves says there’s a “hole” in the public finances.

A new decade-long Brexit study quantifies it:

A 6–8% hit to GDP

That's £180bn-£240bn a year

It means less tax revenue and so less money for everything.

Brexit made Britain MUCH poorer.

I've done more than my fair share of jury service - 4 cases in total - and am in favour of it as a direct result of that experience. It works. Feels like an important democratic check (not least) on the power of judges - who, through no fault of their own - must inevitably get jaded by experience.

UK govt wants jury trials scrapped except for rape, murder, manslaughter or cases passing a public interest test.

What would toff judges do to protesters against bad laws, environmental and other issues.

Only cases of alleged murder, rape or manslaughter will be decided by a jury under new proposals to cut court backlogs.

It won't be easy, but here’s how we break the corporate oligarchy and return power to the people.
