They seem puzzled that a particularly junky bit of particularly intelligence-insulting junk mail somehow failed to elicit the response they wanted.

Our new feline overlord Phoenix at our vet for a checkup and shots. She was a "barn" (well, luxurious barn with heated pads, litter boxes, and food/water service) cat at my wife's cousin's barn -- she clearly wanted to be a house cat, but it couldn't be *that* house because her husband is allergic.
