Panel 5, zoomed out. I accidentally drew Jon's pupils wrong, but liked the effect so a kept it and added it to Garfield. Reality is beginning to unravel

Panel 6. Further staring

Panel 7. Snap! Jon's eyes are massively bloodshot, his pupils tiny

Panel 8. Jon lies head on table, smoke rising from his fried brain. Garfield stares straight at the reader, eyes empty black pools.

I bang on about this a lot: I think the combination of a global pandemic, underregulated internet/SM, collapse/corruption of trustworthy media, plus now unregulated genAI, is a wildly toxic environment for radicalisation & mental health. We see the results of that in our politics & lives every day

The "unfair completion" thing is *weird* though, right?

"You're selling models that are basically identical to ours" is one thing, "You're selling models that are clearly inspired by ours but are not something we've ever made" is another, but those are IP arguments, not competition, surely.
