Looking back
on my wedding day,
I see now
I should’ve run away.
#Augury and omens
I ignored
for the boy
I adored.
A butterfly fluttered
My bouquet fell from my hand.
A baby cried.
He lost our wedding band.
Years have passed;
we bicker and fight.
I wish I’d heeded
the warnings that night.
Looking back
on my wedding day,
I see now
