#OTD 45 years ago (7 Oct 1980) according to my diary, I drew these images for the Hitchhiker's Guide BBC TV series. Douglas Adams as both the ad exec and as Paula, the worst poet in the universe. I was 19 years old and having fun.

🌊Today marks the anniversary of the 35th Brigade’s creation — a good moment to show them support. Their unit needs help repairing 3 vehicles. ~$4550 left.

I’m proud that we have been regularly helping 35th Brigade — and this time we’ll stand with them again. 💪

I can trace the first time a KIM -1 left the factory at MOS Technology to January 1976.

The last KIM seems to be made in 1981. As reported by Eric Rehnke in Compute June 1981.

I have to say something not bad about Tulsi Gabbard.
(This doesn't happen often.)
Glad to hear she's negotiated to get the UK not to mandate backdoors in iPhone encryption.

8bitdo mechanical keyboard is heavily recommended. Compact, great feel and not too clacky. Resembles a C64 but nothing is perfect!

FYI: Gerph has been re-implementing RISC OS – which started as Arm's very first OS – in Python, allowing 32 and 64-bit apps and other software to build and run on non-Arm systems. Amazing work

It's cool that Microsoft released a new text mode editor, but I must point out that the original MS-DOS 5 editor was officially called "Microsoft Editor", and not EDIT.
