'Drug boat' sinking participants should read Hugh Thompson's story.
More than that, his crew threatened to open fire on the murderers. He rescued civilians, returned to base to refuel, flew back, and rescued more civilians. Then he denounced the crimes to his HQ.
For all this he received death-threats throughout his life.

Although it is important to knock down the administration’s absurd legal justification for the boats strikes, need to recognize that these theories are just legal backfilling.
The bottom line is that POTUS and others wanted to kill people for entertainment and his lawyers concocted a justification.
