Rubio is offering Europe a junior partnership: embrace Trumpism, ditch climate action, endorse nativism.

A Trump adjacent ally will put this on the ballot paper in most national elections, though most people in most European democracies are sceptical/opposed

The court once again hammering home that they really don't accept the idea that is a peaceful or non-violent group.

This is significant *because they've found in PA's favour*. It is hard to say they're a bunch of kumbayah singing lentil weavers, if you read the judgment.

Significant that the High Court ruling is still, in places, quite damning of Palestine Action. It emphatically rejects that the group is engaged in "civil disobediance", for example.

It just finds (compellingly) that proscription was still wrong, despite that.

But this, here, is the key bit: despite everything they have to say about PA, the court finds that the consequences of proscription on human rights are not proportionate to its benefits. The first ground upon which the government lost is largely procedural. This one is substantive.

A division of labor between conventional European forces and nuclear US forces would incentivize Russia to use nuclear weapons first in a European conflict in an attempt to force a partially disengaged United States to back down rather than risk nuclear war.
Colby at NATO: "We will continue to provide the U.S. extended nuclear deterrent. And we will also continue, in a more limited and focused fashion, to provide conventional capabilities that contribute to NATO's defense."
