🚨NEW POST🚨

I wrote a bit about Richard Linklater's newest film, Nouvelle Vague, and how its less about Godard and Breathless and more so a tragic reflection on the current state of movies.

Kinda incredible someone decided to make this knowing the Grinch isn't in the public domain. Loses a lot of the appeal that Blood and Honey had. Though the quality isn't too far off

I double checked and, yes—the DELUXE OVERSIZED edition of SPECTRUM is half off right now. $20 for basically one full shitload of the best form-busting, trippy-as-hell music comics available anywhere.

Wild to see a Bears team that plays like a well oiled machine. Running the ball for solid gains, a greatly improved Caleb Williams making good throws. I'm not expecting any deep playoff run but they're actually entertaining and competitive in a tough division

Really wanna get a Char statue or figure, nothing fancy just a little something to add to Char box
Secured a couple extra bases and was able to put the HGGTO RX-78 in a better pose, along with giving the second bit for the Red Gundam a more dymanic look

Spent a bit reading about Lenin hiding from the government and writing what would become The State and Revolution

But also spent the morning engaging with Black Friday sales at the mall

Lot of dissonance there, but we'll roll with it

The first shot in the No Other Choice trailer is someone nipping a piece of a 3D printed gun off a runner, and my poisoned mind thought "oh shit someone's making a gunpla movie!"

Highly recommended: this long piece by Alex Dueben on 30 years of James Robinson’s Starman. @comicsjournal.bsky.social
We are all in the gutter: Starman at 30, part 1 - The Comics Journal
Starman is 30 years old? Where did the time go? Good thing Alex Dueben is here to do a deep dive on this influential James Robinson/Tony Harris superhero series.

So weird to watch a game where the Bengals defense is keeping them alive while the offense can't get it going
